GIVING/ OFFERING
The Bible says that…
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
- 2 Corinthians 9:7
Giving is worship. The Lord has given us everything in Jesus Christ, so in worship we give of our first fruits and everything we have, acknowledging God is the one who truly provides and sustains us. The stewardship of our finances is a tremendous—and often overlooked—area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the Gospel. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handed.
As Christians, we are called to joyfully and sacrificially invest our time, prayer, gifts, and finances to meet the needs of others and to support the ministry of the local church.
