ONE Church ADVISORY TEAM

While ONE Church continues to grow we are overseen by the ONE Church Advisory Team. This is a temporary team of elders and pastors who are serving until we establish our own plurality of internal elders. This is a governing board of shepherds that consists of people both internal and external to ONE Church.

The ONE Church Advisory Team is included below with our staff. Please contact this team if you have any questions.

Yingsong Kaping, Pastor

Yingsong was born in Jabalpur, India and raised in East Dallas. He grew up attending Northlake Baptist Church and Northwest Terrace Baptist Church - both churches recently merged to become ONE Church! Yingsong graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, TX with a Bachelors in Software Engineering. He met his wife Worshim in 2009. They are blessed to have three children, Woryung, Heksin and Shupkhui. The Kapings love and are called to serve the Lake Highlands community where they have lived for years. Their desire is to see their neighborhood transformed by the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ! (testimony)

Rev. Zaklei Kaping | Elder

Rev. Zaklei Kaping, Elder

Jairus WithrowJairus (which rhymes with Paris) was born and raised on Dallas’s east side and is glad to say that all his family is still living in the DFW area. Thanks to the Lord’s leading, he has found himself back in the Lake Highlands area (after having been several years away) and serving with One Church. He has a passion for seeing people come into the family of God and finding their place in His kingdom. An open door for realizing this is through his career in music and love for the arts. Jairus can often be found attending or hosting community artist events, performing at venues, and writing songs for both congregational singing and everyday listening—always in the hope that others will be able to “declare the praise of Him who called [them] out of darkness and into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9
